About Each Camp:
Skills Clinic:
This is a beginner friendly camp, but is also great for intermediate level riders. The camp is similar to the common "clinic" and will address skills and race strategies on the track with a "how-to" demonstration method, with riders practicing those skills immediately afterward. when more advanced skills are taught, such as manuals or jumps, an alternative beginner-friendly option will be included for riders that aren't ready for more advanced options just yet.
Power Hour Training Camp:
This is NOT a "how-to" style clinic.
This is a conditioning camp with focus on working hard and becoming a more fit, better racer. Plan to give a lot of effort during these sessions!
Intermediate, and Expert riders recommended. Open to all ages, BUT riders can be demoted back to the skills based camp if they are not here to work, pay attention, and stay on task. Riders Must be able to make it around the entire track without ANY assistance to sign up for this class. Do not sign up for this class if you arent 100% certain the rider can do this. The camp will not slow down for riders that are not prepared for this level of camp.
While skills will be mentioned and briefly covered, as needed for the camp, we will be focusing on multiple straight efforts, full laps, conditioning, and warmup/recovery tactics, as well as training tips, insights, and gate start technique. As noted above, these riders MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to the camp and begin the WARM-UP on their own, which will be posted by the trailer!
Bring water and a healthy snack as needed!
